Positioning and a website for an AI company in a market full of AI promises
The site is climbing in Google Search. A secondary goal I've set internally is to make it one of the largest information hubs on AI agents.
Situation
Bombos provides AI orchestration that takes over office work at small and medium-sized businesses. The market has become fairly saturated in a short time. That makes it all the more challenging.
What I did
Built the positioning from fieldwork: transcribed conversations and demos, collected customers' exact words in a copy bank and distilled the claims from them.
Edited and directed all website copy: 25 use-case pages, each starting from one work situation the reader recognizes. Claude writes, I direct and approve. The headline "Forget AI. Bombos takes care of it." came from dozens of candidates and a voting app I built for the team.
Set up Google Analytics and Google Ads, with a search campaign across five niches, each with its own landing page, such as the one for processing weekly timesheets.
Filled the Bombos blog: ten articles under my name since August, totalling over 18,000 words. Since 19 September, it also has its own newsletter, with RSS. The same applies here: Claude writes, I direct and approve.
What came out of it
I track clicks and impressions in Google Search and Bing, visibility in LLMs, and conversion to scheduled calls and messages. When the site launched in July, it had zero weekly impressions in Google. By mid-September, it had 144. That number needs to go up, and I'm working hard on it. Almost everyone who sees the site for the first time comments on it.
Decision-makers look at the live site during the call. That is what every contact is working towards.
